PAUL GLEICH, LADC

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

Paul is dedicated to supporting individuals navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. He has experience in a variety of treatment settings, working with adults involved in the legal system, families, and individuals seeking meaningful change in their lives. His approach is person-centered with a twist of Gestalt, and he draws on evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, and motivational interviewing in both his personal approachand his supervision of our other clinicians.

Paul’s goal is to create a safe, consistent, and structured environment for our clients that promotes congruency, accountability, and healing for clients as they discover and implement the resources that support their recovery. He is especially passionate about helping clients build systems of internal and external support that empower them to become active, highly capable, and self-motivated participants in their treatment, while reducing the shame and stigma often associated with mental health and addiction. He values open communication and works closely with community providers, probation, and other supports to promote a seamless continuity of care.

In his free time, Paul loves to go on a good run, drive and tinker with cars, and spend time with his intelligent but mischievous German Shepherd. He believes that change is always possible, and he feels honored to support our clinicians and walk alongside clients as they work toward healthier, more hopeful futures.

His therapeutic approach combines evidence-based methods with faith-based practices. By focusing on listening to clients' psychosocial histories, he uses person-centered and solution-focused techniques, as well as motivational interviewing, to address addiction and support recovery.

Charles’s commitment to this work is deeply personal. He answered the call to become an addiction therapist because he has firsthand experience with family members and friends whose lives were taken because of addiction. Recognizing that addiction does not only affect individuals in active use but also families and communities, he is determined to help individuals in recovery, supporting their return to a productive lifestyle that benefits the community. He is also passionate about promoting preventative care and community awareness about substance use and recovery. I believe each person can experience transformation and find freedom in recovery.
